Join us for a course preview ride on April 9th. Meet at Harriet Hollister Spencer State Park and be prepared to roll AT 10:00am. We will be riding the long course as a group. No one will be left behind, but please be respectful of the rest of the group and plan to be able to manage on your own if you are unable to ride a 15-16mph pace for 2 hours. We will stop and regroup at the top of all of the climbs. The total time to finish the ride may end up over 3 hours so plan your day accordingly. Make sure you have spare tubes, tools, drink and food. Cell phone service is mostly good but coverage may not always be available. Ride at your own risk. This ride is a casual, fun get-together and is not sanctioned or insured. There will be no mechanical, nutritional, or hydration support. The ride is fully self supported and every rider must be responsible for getting themselves to the end.
Thanks to Kask Helmets, Towpath Bike, and the tremendous support of all of our team sponsors, Team Towpath will be decked out in the latest aero road helmet from Kask, the Protone. Kask Helmets are second to none when it comes to quality and value. The Protone has excellent crash protection, is lightweight, aerodynamic, very comfortable, and frankly - looks freaking awesome. If you're near the front of a race that we're at, you'll be sure to see our Kask Helmets on display there.
We're already over halfway to our fundraising goal of $1000 with 88 days remaining before our big ride. Thank you for all the generous support.
Team Towpath is very pleased to announce that TLF Graphics is sponsoring the Finger Lakes Gravel Challenge and will be providing all of the signage for the event.

Here are the courses that we have planned. The course plans are tentative and will depend on road conditions, but this will give you an idea of what to expect. There are many miles of seasonal roads and winter can really take an unpredictable toll on these roads, and it's even possible that there may still be snow/ice at the higher elevations in late April. We don't expect to have to make any changes, but we do anticipate the possibility and we'll ask for your patience for a final decision.
Over the winter some of the seasonal roads may not be passable, and cell phone coverage in the area can be unreliable. Please be very cautious if you go out to ride or drive the course before there's been an extended period of warm weather.
Team Towpath has proudly partnered with the following companies that are committed to helping us achieve our goals for the 2016 and 2017 road racing and cyclocross seasons. Towpath Bike has been the team's title sponsor since 2012 and we're very pleased to have their continued support along with additional support from several new sponsors.
